Newsletter Release Notes: Updated Chargeback System, SEO Improvements & API Integration
Chargeback System Update
Financial Chargebacks Report To track multiple transactions and their details at a quick glance, we have introduced a new report called the "Financial Chargebacks Report." This report consolidates data directly from Stripe and provides a clear overview of your Chargebacks. It's accessible within the Reports section.
Viewing Chargebacks
-
Go to Financial > Chargebacks.
-
Make sure that all of your locations are selected.
-
Select the time period for which you want to view chargebacks.
-
Click Run.
Understanding Chargeback Deductions
The chargeback report shows the following information:
-
Order: The order that was disputed.
-
Won/Lost: Whether you won or lost the chargeback dispute.
-
Reason: The reason for the dispute.
-
Chargeback Deducted From: The payment account from which the chargeback was deducted.
-
Chargeback Date Deducted: The date on which the funds were deducted from your account.
-
Initial Chargeback Amount: The amount of the original chargeback.
-
Fee: The fee charged by the payment processor for the chargeback.
-
Total Amount: The total amount deducted from your account, including the chargeback amount and fee.
-
Returned: Whether the funds were returned to your account because you won the dispute.
Viewing Returned Funds
To view when returned funds were deposited into your account:
-
Go to Manage Payments.
-
Select the date on which the funds were returned to your account.
-
Click Payouts.
-
The returned funds will be listed in the payout.
Note: Stripe uses UTC time, while DeliverLogic uses regular time. This means that if you return funds to a customer on a particular day in UTC, the funds may not appear in their account until the following day in regular time.
SEO Improvements
There are many benefits to optimizing SEO, but here are five of the most important:
-
Increased organic traffic: SEO helps you rank higher in search engine results pages (SERPs), which means more people will see your website when they search for relevant keywords. This can lead to a significant increase in organic traffic, which is traffic that comes from search engines without having to pay for it.
-
Improved brand awareness: When your website ranks higher in SERPs, people are more likely to remember your brand and associate it with the products or services you offer. This can lead to increased brand awareness and recognition, which can help you attract new customers and grow your business.
-
More qualified leads: SEO can help you attract more qualified leads to your website. When you rank for relevant keywords, you're more likely to attract people who are already interested in what you have to offer. This can lead to more conversions and sales.
-
Higher ROI: SEO is a relatively cost-effective marketing strategy. Once you've optimized your website for SEO, you can continue to benefit from organic traffic without having to spend any additional money. This can lead to a higher return on investment (ROI) for your marketing efforts.
-
Long-term results: SEO is a long-term investment, but the results can be worth it. Once you've optimized your website for SEO, you can expect to see continued results over time. This is because search engines are constantly updating their algorithms, but the basic principles of SEO remain the same.

DeliverLogic API Intergration
With access to the open DeliverLogic API, you are now able to inject orders into the software that originate directly from your restaurant or retail partners.

Below we will show you how to go into some basic use cases that you can utilize this API integration:
- Injecting Orders Into DeliverLogic Using A Single Form For Multiple Vendors
-
Injecting Orders Into DeliverLogic Using A Specific Form For Each Vendor
-
Injecting Orders Into DeliverLogic Using A Google Sheet For A Single Vendor
-
Injecting Orders Into DeliverLogic API After Parsing Emails Received Via Another 3rd Party
Additional Features and Updates
Providing a customized ordering experience for customers can help you greatly in getting the customers to actually finish checking out.
Our menu building section can be customized in many ways but our biggest potential is in the pre-selected options. This lets you offer any BYO item like Burgers, Salads, Rice Bowl and others but have the restaurant's original creations included.
(ex. Buffalo Chicken Pizza with BBQ Sauce, Buffalo Sauce, Chicken and Cheese already pre-selected for the customer)
It will also allow you to offer creations and specifications that your customers ACTUALLY like because if they can order an item just like they order at a Drive-Thru or inside a restaurant they are more likely to go through with the order and check out.
Driver AutoComms are a very useful notifying system that will automatically update drivers by App Notification, Smart Call or SMS.
This can greatly improve efficiency between you as an operator, dispatchers and drivers. It will also help your drivers to stay on track to deliver MORE orders quickly!
